MCS山根氏のTweetを眺めていたら、表題のTweetを紹介されていて、これがかなりヒネリの効いた楽しい企画でしたので、幸いスラトキン氏のTweetは一般公開されていることもあり、20件全てここに列挙させていただくことにしました。
今や巨匠指揮者の一人、レナード・スラトキンは、弦楽四重奏好きであれば一度は耳にしているであろう、1958年エジンバラ音楽祭における伝説的な「ベートーヴェン後期四重奏曲演奏会」を行ったハリウッド四重奏団の第一ヴァイオリンで、指揮者としても活躍した、フェリクス・スラトキンの子息になります(同四重奏団のチェリスト、ヴィクター・アラー女史が母君)
このワーストジャケット企画の合間にも、『ハリウッド四重奏団の芸術』や『フェリクス・スラトキンの芸術』の紹介を、しかも日本のファン向けにTweetしており、音楽史の連続性を感じることができます。
それにしても二の句がつげないようなジャケットの数々、よくぞ見つけた(架蔵していた?)
