Accompanists



Nina Musinyan (1910 - 1995)

She studied the piano with professor Konstantin Igumnov in the Moscow Concervatoire. After she started teachs in Moscow Concervatoire. She was the first wife at Shafran. Also she was a good accompanist in his beginning work and was a good adviser. However, I don't know more information about her.



Anton Ginsburg (1930 - )

He was born in Moscow. In 1953 he graduated from the Moscow Conservatoire (class of professor Genrikh Neigaus). In 1957 he win first prize at the Smetana International Competition in Prague. Since then he has concertized extensively in the Soviet Union and abroad. Apart from solo concerts, Anton Ginsburg has appeared as accompanist to Nina Dorliak, Maria Maksakova, Igor Oistrakh, Mark Lubotsky and Daniil Shafran.

Felix Gottlieb (1944 - )

He studied the piano with professor Alexander Goldenweiser in the Moscow Central Music School. Subsequently, he studied with Emil Gilels and Theodor Gutman at the Moscow Conservatory. In 1964 he won the first prize at the Best Mozart Players Competition in Moscow. He won the best ensemble pianist award at the 5th International Tchaikovsky Competition.

Felix Gottlieb has played as an accompanist with many great instrumentalists including Daniil Shafran, Vladimir Spivakov and Aurel Nicolet. He teaches master classes in Germany, Switzerland, France and Belgium. He was appointed professor of music at the Stuttgart Conservatory. Currently he is a professor at the Freiburg Conservatory. He has held this position since 1995.
